Final World Book Day Post from us ... A huge thank you to our families, who gave up their time to come and read this week. It meant a lot to the children. It shows, once again what a fantastic community we are all part of! Some of you have asked for the results of our Masked Reader... so here are the results in full!
One of the highlights from World Book Day, yesterday was the paired reading in the sunshine! Our eldest children, read to our youngest children - a lovely moment as part of a great day!
One more reader for you... Who is this Mystery Reader?!
Another one before World Book Day in the morning... Where have we heard this voice before? Can you guess this Mystery Reader?
Our next mystery reader... Who could it be?
This week at Trinity, there have been some mysterious readers... Who could this be?
All very exciting...
A number of Year 3 and Year 4 children from Trinity were able to join a number of Schools at the Ellisedwardsfoundation and Rippa Rugby Rugby Festival in Bournemouth. A wonderful experience for our young athletes, lots of fun. Some future Six Nations stars potentially...
The annual Pancake Race is always a lovely event. This year did not disappoint. Everyone showed our Christian Values, while competing or cheering others on. A particularly heart warming moment, saw Jack, who won the race last year, pass on the silverware to this years champion - Hugo. Well done all. Particular courage and perseverance was demonstrated by a selection of our parents who followed in the children's footsteps and competed in their won race!
This week we were pleased to be joined by family members of Year 3 and Year 4 children. Our lovely families came into to see some Art and DT learning, but the children put them to work instead! This ranged from watercolour painting, sketching, cross hatching and smudging, to pulleys and levers to make wheels move on cars! We are always grateful for the support - the children were thrilled by their visitors!
There is no such thing as bad weather... especially in EYFS! Another great week of learning, laughing and growing together Diocese of Salisbury Academy Trust
This is shaping up to be a great experience already...! Some of our children had their first taste of Rocksteady Music School this week! We cannot wait to see the children continue to thrive and scratch their musical itches through their Bands! Watch this space...
A huge thank you to Moors Valley Country Park and Forest for generously providing us with a beautiful Christmas Tree.
Our Year 4 children did an amazing job today, bringing Samba to Verwood. Thank you to our families for always supporting our events so whole-heartedly! We are hugely grateful to Pete from Dorset Music Service, who has taught Owls Class over the past ten weeks! We are very lucky to have Pete! They even managed a Samba version of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer....
